Key contributors
A special thanks to all the trustees who have contributed to the strength of the House since it was just a gleam in the eyes of founding trustee, Paul Cressey:
Some key trustees from inception to present day have included Paul Cressey and Colin Slyfield (both returning mid-2006 when the expansion was completed), Niels Jaegersborg (the Danish Consulate General in New Zealand, a foundation trustee and current Deputy Chair who represents the Rotary Club of Downtown Auckland, Neils has been our fundraising ’expert’ on the board from day one), Barry Cooper, Barbara Lloyd, Wayne Foster, Ray Stonelake, Jenny Fox, Joseph Zazulac, David Morgan, Dean Mantell, Peter Chamberlain, Roger Bannister, Russell Donaldson and Eric Grainger (Eric was the Chairman of the 1979 Children’s Appeal Trust and is currently the Chairman of our Bequest Society). These are just a few outstanding contributors since the RMH Auckland Trust was formed in 1992.
Our current Chairman is Scott Macfarlane. Scott is a paediatric oncologist at Starship and one of two trustees representing the Auckland District Health Board.
See Board of Trustees for a full list of our current Trustees.
