G.J. Gardner. Homes is a network of family owned businesses with 27 offices throughout the country. They are proud to be a member of the Business Club and see it as a natural extension of their own philosophy of making great homes for kiwi families by being able to help families from all over New Zealand stay together in a ‘special’ home when they are forced to be away from their own home due to a child’s illness.
The RMH Auckland Trust funds and governs Ronald McDonald House® Auckland and Ronald McDonald Family Room® (in Starship Hospital), facilities which provide a ’home away from home’ for over 3,000 families of children with life-threatening illnesses each year. It is a registered community charitable trust comprised of the following partners: Auckland District Health Board, Child Cancer Foundation, Heart Children, The Rotary Club of Downtown Auckland, Ronald McDonald House Charities® and two community representatives. The Trust actively fundraises to help cover the total cost to run the facilities, currently in excess of $3,000,000 per year. Charity Registration number: CC23591
