How to book
Registration
To ensure you are eligible for travel and accommodation financial support, you must be registered with the Ministry of Health. The people who booked your stay should also have helped you register with the Ministry. You must have your Ministry of Health registration number with you when you arrive at Ronald McDonald House Auckland.
If your registration number has not arrived before you leave home, please contact your District Health Board. You must do this before you begin your travel or your travel and accommodation will not be funded.
24 hours prior to check-in
If there is time, please call us on +64 9 303 1365 to confirm your booking 24 hours before you are due to arrive. Occasionally the hospital may change your arrangements without notifying us, making it harder for us to meet yours and other families needs.
By this time you should be able to provide us with your Ministry of Health registration number which will cover your accommodation costs while in Auckland.
If you are bringing any primary or intermediate age siblings with you please remember to register them into the House school prior to your arrival. You can do this by contacting our School Liaison Officer, Lorraine Bunbury, on +64 9 303 1365 or email .
