Why not let your imagination run free and start planning a fundraising event or project at your school for Ronald McDonald House® Auckland? Every cent you raise will make a real difference to the families we support.

Many of the schools that support us have a student, or their sibling, whose family has had to rely on us for shelter and support at a time of crisis. In most cases the family is so grateful for this support that they want to give something back.

A school fundraising event can be educational and fun, whilst at the same time helping to raise funds for a very worthy cause. Staff and pupils of schools from all over New Zealand have taken part in a wide range of activities for the House including coin trails, mufti days, concerts, fun runs, cake sales, dance events and second hand sales.

Schools based in Auckland (or who are only a short drive away) have the added benefit of being able to visit the House. House tours or the personal delivery of gifts are always warmly welcomed — plus the students get to see first-hand the families they are helping!

There a variety of ways that your school can get involved in fundraising. We are always looking for new and inventive ways to raise money, so why not get together with your classmates and come up with some ideas to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Auckland?

Through fundraising, your school will be making a very real difference to the lives of your students and their families who may one day need to call our House their home. Each school who fundraises for Ronald McDonald House Auckland will receive a certificate of appreciation for their efforts which can be displayed for all to see!
