Your community

Community support is very important to the House — Lions Club of Auckland Chinese Inc is a long-term supporter of the House. Outgoing president 2007/2008 Jimmy Wong hands our CEO their 2008 donation.
Every year we are very fortunate to be the recipient of a variety of fundraising events and projects carried out on our behalf by individuals, businesses and community groups around the country. Some of these include golf tournaments, bingo nights, cake stalls, bridge tournaments, mufti days and fun runs. All raise much needed funds for the House which enable us to continue sheltering and supporting our families for which we are truly grateful.
Why not ask organisations in your community to support you in fundraising for us? Some of our largest individual donations are received when families return home and talk to their community about their time spent at Ronald McDonald House Auckland.
You may choose to fundraise as a group towards the general running costs of the House, or for a particular item (a new toy, piece of equipment, non perishable food items, etc) — please see our current ‘wish list’ for some ideas.
We welcome fundraising events by individuals, groups and organizations who are aligned with our mission. If you wish to run a fundraising event for Ronald McDonald House Auckland please phone us on +64 9 303 1365 or email to request an event registration form.
